Scouts and Sports 2.8.11

A few weeks ago, the girl scouts had an event called world thinking day. Each troop puts on a little show that represents a particular country. Eva's troop had Australia. Here they are before their big performance.

I posted the video on facebook a week or so ago. Definitely worth a look if you are an Eva fan. She's quite the performer and she didn't hear the part about locking your arms together.

I'm going to make a new video and mix in a little Don Henley, wouldn't that be cute? All she wants to do is dance dance dance.Sarah opted for a birthday party and didn't make it to the event and Emily's troop provided the flag ceremony that same night.

It's also cookie season, my girls are selling cookies, all three of them!

Wyatt has been boy scouting for a year already, he has a lot of fun. That's my boy holding the flag and trying to keep a straight face.

I can't believe that they are all in scouts! I am so thankful that we have four excellent ladies to lead the troops/den, we are truly blessed there. My kids wouldn't be there if not for their goodhearted leaders.

Emily is still playing mini-season soccer and wants to get back into volleyball. Wyatt is playing basketball once a week and just started little league baseball. This is his first practice with his team.

Sarah will play basketball later this month too, she decided not to play baseball this year. And what about Eva? I am going to start her in a once a week tumbling class and give her sweet bouncy nature some more attention.

So when do we have free time? Right now it's most Monday's, Friday evening, late Saturday afternoon + evening, and Sundays after mass. I love Sundays.

I love everyday.

Honestly.

I love this life.
