December Day 8

On this Wednesday I met friends for coffee and oatmeal at Jamba Juice. Wow! JJ has the best oatmeal in town. Steel cut, not instant. Who knew? It was pretty terrific and so was their coffee. Dare I say their regular coffee was better than Starbucks? Why yes, yes I do, she said matter-of-factly. I brought one of Eva's best friends home with me for the rest of the morning so her mama could get some errands done.

That afternoon we all met back at the school to help set up a teacher appreciation luncheon. Later in the afternoon Emily met her Girl Scout troop at Target for some angel tree shopping and with all the kids with me, including our sweet friend Catie, we bounced around the store while our big girls shopped away.



It was another stacked day too. After a quickie dinner at home we went to mass to celebrate the immaculate conception, it was a really great way to end this busy December day.
