With all this sunshine, we have rediscovered [as it happens every spring] all the housework that does not involve actually being inside the house. So, good weather actually multiplies the work load around here, probably at your house too and that just doesn't seem fair! It's kinda fun though and definitely a welcomed change.
Emily is playing basketball with 11-14 year olds and the competition is heating up and is becoming a blast to watch; it's fully entertaining! So too with Wyatt and Sarah playing little league baseball on the same team, sports have suddenly become very exciting for our family! All the practices are wearing me out but it's worth it to watch them blossom in each their own ways day by day. Just like all the pretty leaves and flowers with this gorgeous time of year. Welcome Spring, I'm so glad you're here!
Over the past several weeks I have had the pleasure of some fun visits and chats with friends that I have been missing like Sherri and Melissa, I spent a whole weekend with Nena, and I had a day of food and shopping with my mother and my sister Renee. It's so great to get caught up with everybody. I miss my sisters like crazy. If I could see them and my friends more often I would be one happy lady. Heehee I just called myself a lady, sometimes I laugh at things that make me feel like I am nine years old. Looks like I have made peace with my dorkiness!
A fun little slideshow of our annual snow cabin weekend with our friends. It was our 5th year at this cabin that we rent, Eva was just a few months old our first year. It was another epic weekend.
And I have to throw in a few snow trip video clips just for fun! I took my camera downhill with me on my sled and it ended
Eva had the most fun sledding of all of them. It may have something to do with the fact that she got a ride up the hill from Tony every time while the others toted their own sleds up. The youngest get all the perks don't they? She laughs from the top of the hill to the very bottom!
And Wyatt ripped it with a smooth little wipeout. Way to be tough buddy.
March on March, bring it on, I can handle it. Wyatt's birthday week is here, can you believe my boy is going to be 7? Then my favorite week of the year, Easter week is right around the next corner. Good things on the way.
