You may tell a different story, but it doesn't hurt my ears...or my head! I took clarinet lessons at school in the 5th grade and can barely remember how to play Mary Had A Little Lamb. I'm loving this.

Awesome job after only 5 lessons Emily! I never remember learning Amazing Grace after only 5 lessons! It was Up A Row and Dolly Dear. One went up the scale and the other down. I'm impressed! and before I could 'really' play how many times did I hear--Don't bang on the piano--it'll get it out of tune!' Now I wonder if that were true or just that she didn't want her ears to bleed!?!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! both of them are really good. i've been wanting and hoping that maybe someday i can take some piano lessons. i think the sound of pianos are just so wonderful. i hope she enjoys playing it =) see you on sunday
