Really, I don't know if they make you fat, I only know that they make you happy. I have always liked the rice crispy treats (not the store bought ones) but was never obsessed with them like I am now. I discovered this recipe for PEANUT BUTTER treats and that's what these little sweeties are. It's just so easy to make them because I do it in the microwave. Here's a tip: put plastic wrap over your measuring cup before you put the peanut butter in it. I just learned that not too long ago, cool huh? Unless you already knew that and you're saying "Ahm, duh girl!" Alternatively, just guess, because it really doesn't have to be that exact! I can eat almost a quarter of it as soon as it hits the pan. Then I want more an hour later. Can it really be that bad? Cereal is good for you, no?
Today was another funny morning with Eva, she's my little shadow. Just bopping around with me, doing chores and other house things.
Today I started sorting through the children's old and outgrown clothes. As it always happens here, we go from summer to winter in only one day. No, not really, but it's most certainly felling like fall. (I love that pumpkin graphic, as you can see I am inspired by this beautiful artist Kal). So, yesterday the girls went to school with shorts and short sleeves and today, long pants and sleeves and jackets. I can never keep up with Emily's pant legs, she outgrows them so fast and it's hard to even find them long enough for her. Three girls means I get to make a lot of decisions about what should stay and what should go and do I really want to store it for years? Good thing I have just one boy. "Oh that doesn't fit you anymore? Bye-bye."
Thanks for the p-nut butter tip Melocha--that's a new one on me too! I didn't see a pumpkin graphic? I love your house and hope to see it one day!! Eva is so precious! I love you! Deb
ReplyDeleteThanks Aunt Deb for all your sweet compliments. You know you are welcome in my home any day you like. I hope it's soon! The pumpkin graphic is on Kal's blog and if you click on the underlined word fall in this post you will find it. (I liked it so much I made it my desktop pic for fall!)
ReplyDeleteLove you!
